In the near village called Doubravník is a church, a delicious sweet shop, a restaurant, a local store, and a supermarket. Also there is a train and a bus stop.
Next to Doubravník there is another village called Černvír, where there is an old historical bridge,Its the oldest covered bridge in Moravia! Next to Černvír there is a bigger village called Nedvědice, there you can find almost everything for example a local food store, a supermarket, restaurants, a sweet shop, a church, a pharmacy, a bakery, ATM etc. If you would like to walk to Nedvědice it is far 5,5km. If you would like to use public transport you can walk 1,7 km down to Černvír and take the bus to stop Nedvědice náměstí. The prices are max. 20CZK per a person. If you own a car you can drive to nedvědice using the road 369 direction Žďár nad Sázavou, it will take you up to 10 minutes.
Next to Nedvědice there is a historical castle called pernštejn (In maps you can find as hrad pernštejn) it's about 5,5km from your accommodation. It's a nice castle that you can go also with kids. The timetable you will find on the maps or their websites: https://www.hrad-pernstejn.eu/en
